Dr. A.J. Robbins

Born and raised in Kingsport, Tennessee, Dr. Robbins has a passion for serving the Tri-Cities community. AJ is married to Erin Robbins, his college sweetheart. After several years across the state of Tennessee for training, God provided AJ and Erin the chance to move back home for working and living. AJ independently founded Appalachian Highlands Endodontics and began working in 2026.

Dr. Robbins attended East Tennessee State University as a soccer student-athlete where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. Following college, AJ moved to Memphis where he attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry where graduated Summa Cum Laude with his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (3rd in his class out of 90+). AJ continued his training in Memphis in the University of Tennessee Department of Graduate Endodontics, receiving his endodontic specialty training and certificate. During his residency, AJ worked the weekends at an emergency dental clinic, relieving patients' pain and saving teeth. A long ten years to become an endodontist!

AJ and Erin are people of deep Christian faith who are involved in their local church. In Memphis, AJ served in pastoral leadership in a lay capacity for two years. The Robbins enjoy all things Tennessee Volunteers and love cheering on the big orange! Lately, Erin is trying to convince AJ to get a dog but he hasn't budged quite yet.
